The employees play a vital role in business development. Be it a mere cleaner, a cashier or branch manager, these people need to see the development of the business as their primary goal and target. The employer has a role to play in ensuring the well being and comfort of her employees and the employees in turn have a role to play in the life.

The employers must see every employee not as a slave who collects a paycheck at the end of the week or month as the case may be but as a partner, who has their own dreams and goals in life. Some of them could be saving the money for their education or to help settle some health bill etc hence the employer has to ensure they are paid as at when due. He must also provide a good and friendly working environment that is comfortable to his employees.

The Employees on the other hand must look beyond their immediate needs and dreams and work as though the business were theirs. A good working attitude is very necessary to ensure the customers are satisfied and there are no losses due to carelessness on their part. The development and growth of the business will be profitable to the employees as this means, promotions, bigger pay checks as the customer base and sales increases.

With this in mind, the employer has to keep his employees motivated. They must see the success of the business as their own successes too and must hence work with such in mind. They must see themselves as vision partners and passionately involved in achieving the goals of the business. To achieve such, the employer must have and clearly spell out to the employees, performance based incentives, career paths available to hardworking staff.

The Employees are the ones who come in contact with the customers (who we know are the target of the business). They must carry out their words and work with a cheerful disposition as this directly influences the customers.
